San Julián de Loria is the parish of culture. In 2004, UNESCO declared the valley of the Madriu Perafita-Claror a world heritage site, part of which is within the Lauredian geographic limits. It also hosts the headquarters of the University of Andorra, the Tobacco Museum, and the Lauredià Cultural and Conference Center, which offers a wide range of events throughout the year. In the warmer seasons, the streets of the parish are the scene of shows and live music, while throughout the year several venues host fairs and congresses with different themes, such as the outlet and the medieval villa. The international sports events are also a benchmark for the offer of the parish, which has already held several editions of the Trial World Championship, the Vuelta a Cataluña and a stage of the Vuelta Ciclista a España. The Romanesque also has an important vestige in different places of the parish, with magnificent churches and constructions from this period of history, such as that of Sant Cerni de Nagol, among others. Guided tours, the Department of Tourism of the Common also offers an important package of guided tours to get to know in depth the emblematic places of the parish, such as the old town or the sanctuary of the Virgen de Canòlich. All this is completed with several hotel establishments, shops and a more than remarkable gastronomic offer.
